  We have attended this church for a little over 4 years, and have always felt like a part of the community. They have great programs for children and teens that teach them to live and understand their faith! We had our first child a little over a year ago, and love that we received Welcome and First Christmas cards from the nursery staff. The church also focuses a great deal on the needs of the surrounding community with developing programs like the new food pantry as well as our angel food ministry program. The church is making a positive impact on the community, and making a purposeful effort to "love their neighbor". I am so glad we made a decision to attend this church when we moved into this neighborhood!

  My wife and I have been attending 1st Church for over 17 years. We have found it to be, without question, the best church for us to raise our family. Our children have been taught in Sunday school and in Caravans by adults and young people who truly have a passion for sharing the love of Christ with the kids. The Jr. High and Sr. High programs are designed to reinforce the early years teaching while aiding the teenagers that have to grow-up and develop in the world that is around us. The church offers many different adult Sunday school classes and small groups that provide a great means for getting to know others. There are many opportunities and ministries that new attendees can become a part of in order to become a vital part of a church that is on the move!
  Lastly, the pastoral staff is beyond compassionate and loving. A great choice for anyone looking for a church home! This church accepted me for who I was; and have helped me grow into the Christian man, husband, father, and active church member that I am today. You just cannot ask for anymore from a church than that!

  I started attending this church as a college student over 11 years ago. I was warmly welcomed into the praise band, worked with the youth group, and found people to be so welcoming. My husband and I are raising our kids in this church, and there is so much for them from birth right up through adulthood. Our children's pastor and youth pastors are incredible. I love that even our nursery-aged children are being taught about Jesus. Every time we've had a baby and had them dedicated, we've received cards that people are praying for us. When we were in a rough situation after moving back here, the church helped us out.
